While it's true that all readers don't write, all writers do read. Ever wonder about the kinds of things we read? And why?
I can't speak for every writer, but I can show you some of my online favorites. Places for fun, for research and reference, places I've surfed to by accident. They're grouped by type, however, so it's up to you to decide which ones are work and which are fun.
I love to read, and I'm a fiction junkie. But I now read much more non-fiction than I once did. I'll be curious about a fact to include in a story, set off to find the answer, and discover whole worlds I didn't know existed . . . and that sparks another idea.
