There were times I thought this day would never arrive. And times when I wished it would hurry up and arrive. Now that it’s here, my feelings are all over the place.

You see, after spending so much time with her, Gracie is very real to me. We all want people to like our friends, and I’m no exception.

There’s also a little relief that I can stop worrying and doing just one more thing to smooth her introduction. Now I can focus on getting Books 2 and 3 ready so you can find out what comes next.

But first… a little family time is going to feel pretty darn good.
