Welcome to 2019

I love brand new years! So full of promise.

This year will be busy around here–new releases, sales, and more.

I’ll be writing, but I’m seeing to it that there’s plenty for y’all to do while I’m pulling out my hair or laughing or falling in love all over again.

One of the things I’m going to TRY to keep updated here is a research list each time I post. You’ll be able to ride along with me while I’m writing, but if you can guess the story out of this list, you’ll officially be a wizard 🙂

So far this month, only one: Jaws of Life

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is in full swing. At our home, we’re firmly in the middle of all the Christmas preparations. Shopping is done, paper and ribbon are strewn across a long table, and the cards are finally in the mail. No baking this year, but I foresee cookies next December!

Wishing you and your family a safe and happy holiday season and a bountiful 2019.

Merry Christmas!

Enjoy the fall colors, sweaters, carving pumpkins, and all the Halloween fun. And pumpkin spice everything.

In San Antonio, it’s still summer, and I’m hard at work putting the finishing touches on the third book in The Amazing Gracie Trilogy.

Gracie and all her friends and family all say hi.

Gracie is on sale for 99 cents the last week of September and the first week of October. September: Jalapeno Cupcake Wench. October: Bluebonnet Ballerina.

This is your opportunity to purchase both of these Kindle editions for less than the regular price of one.

Get yours today!

UPDATE JULY 31: There was a problem with the link to T’s Stuff – one of today’s blog stops. I’ve just put in the correct one, so you’re good to go.

Gracie’s going on tour!

Over the next three weeks, she’ll be visiting a couple of book bloggers each day. The blogs and links are below. Some of the links will take you directly to that blog’s home page. Others land at various spots on the blog. If you find one of those, just click on the blog name to get to the home page.

I’ll be at each stop to respond to comments.

At each stop on the tour, you can enter to win one $50 Amazon gift card to be given away when the tour is complete. There are multiple ways to enter, and you can enter at every stop.

😍 Enter often and good luck 😍

Bluebonnet Ballerina

Bluebonnet Ballerina, The Amazing Gracie Trilogy, Book 2, is now available in both Kindle and paperback editions!

The pre-order Kindle price of 99 cents will be available only until Monday night, July 9.

Gracie Hofner returns, and chaos reigns—including a couple of ghosts trying to save their granddaughter. But as Gracie dances from problem to problem, she’s unaware the music has been orchestrated into a murderous symphony.
When a different melody reaches Gracie’s ears from a guitar played by the new tenant living in her garage apartment, her tension vanishes. She listens unseen, cocooned in the shadows on her patio, and wonders who he’s longing for—and how it would feel for a man to crave her that much.
She can’t dwell on those thoughts, however. Problems of murder and missing prisoners abound. To say nothing of the ghosts. No one ever said being a law enforcement consultant would be easy.

Jalapeno Cupcake Wench, The Amazing Gracie Trilogy, Book 1, is currently listed in a giveaway at Goodreads. 20 Kindle copies will be given away after the giveaway ends on Wednesday, July 11.

If you haven’t read this book, sign up for the giveaway today. And good luck!

Once upon a time there was a jewel thief

By the end of a long evening working as a special set of eyes for the presidential security detail, all Kat Marengo wants is to kick off her shoes and stash two not-really-stolen rings in a secure spot. Plus, maybe sleep with Dave Krizak. No, make that definitely sleep with Dave Krizak. The next morning, she wishes her new top priorities were so simple.

As an operative for a covert agency buried in the depths of the Department of Homeland Security, Kat is asked to participate in a matter of life or death–locate a kidnapped girl believed to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas. Since the person doing the asking is the wife of the president and the girl is the daughter of her dearest friend, it’s hard to say no.

Kat and Dave quickly learn the real stakes are higher than they or the first lady believed and will require more than any of them bargained for.

The kicker? They have twenty-four hours to find the girl–or the matter of life or death will become more than a possibility.
